Marija Maric wins Wim Trijsburg prize for junior scientists

On Friday, December 18, Marija Maric received the Wim Trijsburg Prize for junior scientists from jury chairman Cor de Haan. Dr. Maric received a beautiful glass sculpture and a sum of money to spend on a study trip and / or international conference

The prize for junior scientists was awarded in the Beurs van Berlage during the Day of Psychotherapy. The other two nominees were Kim de Jong and Lotte Lemmens.

From the jury report
Dr. Maric conducts more than 10 years of research relevant to clinical practice. It is always research into the effectiveness of psychotherapy in clinical practice for children, young people and their parents.

'The jury is impressed by the fact that Dr Maric, in addition to the multitude of factors in her quantitative research, pays a lot of attention to the handling of the N = 1 perspective in her research as well as in her clinical work. The jury appreciates the integrative approach in Dr. Maric's research and considers this research well-founded, comprehensive and promising for the future. '

About the Wim Trijsburg Prize
The NVP has awarded the Wim Trijsburg Prize for the second time. The prize is intended for a psychotherapist or psychotherapy researcher who has done or does research into effective factors in psychotherapy or studies cohesion and integration within psychotherapy and focuses on the client.
